This 16 hour NWCG course will be tailored toward prescribed fire applications. Participants will have the opportunity to share in a learning environment with fire practitioners representing other agencies and organizations and learn and discuss material related to:
This course will involve two days of classroom training and one day of live-fire field exercises (weather permitting).
Participants will receive a certificate for completing S-219 Ignition Operations. The course, course materials, and lunch will be provided to participants at no charge. Participants are responsible for arranging their own lodging and evening meals.
