What is TREX?: A Prescribed Fire Training Exchange is unique cooperative burning/training model in which a diverse set of fire practitioners gather to learn from one another and help with local prescribed fire efforts. TREX services the needs of diverse entities, including federal and state agencies, private landowners and contractors, tribes, academics, and international partners—while incorporating local values and issues to build the right kinds of capacity in the right places.
