This week, the Fire Networks are proud to release our 2025 Impact Report. Over the past year, the Fire Networks were able to make remarkable progress toward restoring fire-adapted landscapes and advancing wildfire resilience in communities. Inside our Report, you’ll find powerful stories of collaboration between agencies, nonprofits, Tribal leaders, and local communities working side by side to restore their relationships with fire.
Our report highlights fire resilience examples like the Loup TREX, a community prescribed fire training event that built local capacity and returned fire into the hands of neighbors; community members strategically applying both cultural and prescribed burns during an active wildfire; small investments that lead to major outcomes by supporting communities’ smoke readiness efforts across the West; the advancement of Prescribed Burn Associations nationwide; and the growth of a robust and ready prescribed fire workforce that you’re helping us build.
These stories represent just a fraction of our work, but they underscore a critical truth: sustained investment and shared responsibilities are essential for transforming fire cultures. No one can address fire alone—the risks and solutions are collective, and so is the path forward. Explore the full report below and join us in celebrating these accomplishments!
