DESCRIPTION:Join us for twelve days of hands-on burning and learning at The Nature Conservancy’s Niobrara Valley\nPreserve! We will explore the growing role of women in fire management\, conduct prescribed fire operations designed to advance formal qualifications\, and engage in workshops and dialogue on fire ecology and effects\, communications and outreach\, prescribed fire policy and planning\, and tools for empowering a more diverse and thoughtful fire workforce. \nWho Can Participate? This event is intended for fire practitioners from federal\, state\, local\, NGO\, university\, and Tribal organizations.
