SUMMARY:RX 310 Introduction to Fire Effects
DESCRIPTION:RX – 310 Introduction to Fire Effects Southern Appalachians is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and ability to recognize and communicate the relationship between fire effects and operations\, understand how fire treatments influence ecological outcomes\, as well as learn about the latest tools and techniques from wildland fire practitioners and researchers in the Southern Appalachians. \nThe course will be held June 8 – 11\, 2026 at the NC Forest Service Mountain Training Facility in Newland\, NC.
