SUMMARY:2026 Drone TREX
DESCRIPTION:The Nature Conservancy in Arkansas is excited to host the second annual Drone TREX at the beautiful Grandview Prairie Nature Center in Southwest Arkansas. This year’s event will feature five action-packed days of classroom instruction and live-fire training. \nParticipants will cover key topics including laws and regulations\, IGNIS operations\, hands-on emergency flight procedures\, mapping and Rx Fire Task Book work—all while enjoying great food and camaraderie. Bring your best stories for our evening Fireside Lessons Learned circle. Training will take place August 2–8\, 2026\, consisting of five training days and two travel days. Participation is limited to 12\, and priority will be given to those holding FIRB or higher qualifications. However\, if you do not meet these requirements\, we still encourage you to apply to be considered as an alternate. \nFull information and registration instructions can be found in the event flyer.

DESCRIPTION:The Lake Cal-TREX is an EcoCultural Fire Training Exchange led by the Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance (TERA) in partnership with Tribes\, agencies\, and community organizations. TREX is an acronym for “Training Exchange\,” and TREX events have taken place across the country and around the world since 2008.
